This partnership stands out as one of my most cherished and impactful projects. Deeply immersing myself in Indigenous culture to manifest it through audio and video transformed both my producer's vision and my personal outlook. In this role, I adeptly bridged the mental wellness firms, effectively managing client interaction, directing end-to-end content creation, and orchestrating logistics for a remote shoot and audio recording sessions in London, Canada. I also oversaw the post-production process and spearheaded the generation of in-app brand assets and comprehensive marketing materials.

This video serves as an introduction to Headspace’s year-long partnership with the National Park Foundation. The goal of these two organizations teaming up was to bring the beauty and the wonder of our National Parks to people wherever they are and to help them discover the profound connection between nature and mindfulness.
Join Rosie Acosta for this immersive eyes-open meditation, where you’ll find strength and resilience in wandering the towering bamboo forest of Hawaii’s Haleakala National Park.
For this project, I partnered with Headspace teacher Dora Kamau to craft an immersive eyes-open guided video meditation, highlighting the breathtaking water features of Yellowstone National Park, including its numerous lakes, rivers, and wetlands. I collaborated closely with a park ranger to meticulously select shoot locations and secure essential permits. The planning of travel and logistics for a team of 6 was my responsibility, as I also took charge of creative direction and production during the intense 3-day shoot across 10+ locations in Yellowstone's vast 3,472 square miles. Furthermore, I managed post-production, ensuring a seamless edit of this 7+ minute video, and worked with cross-functional teams to efficiently produce and deliver brand assets.
While all the video I produced for the Headspace app was vertical, this particular series, ‘Ask a Teacher’ is one that I am responsible for rebooting. From selecting member questions, to working with programming to establish and schedule air dates for specific topics, and overseeing the edit; I was hands-on throughout every step of the pre-production, production and post-production process. For this particular series, my vision was to remove the barrier of the camera in order to make it feel like the teacher was having a casual conversation with the viewer. I wanted these videos to be informative, yet entertaining, while also showcasing each meditation teacher’s unique personality and strengths. In order to achieve this, I strategically selected shoot locations and created small and intimate sets that allowed each teacher to feel comfortable. Additionally, I identified and played into each of their strengths, having one teacher answer questions off the cuff, while the other was given time to prepare her responses. I firmly believe that having a deep understanding of what makes your talent tick helps you create an environment that sets the entire production up for success and allows them to shine.
Confidence is something we all struggle with from time to time. In this episode, Rosie Acosta helps a Headspace member learn to trust in their authentic self.
Whether or not you realize it, feelings and emotions are not the same thing. In this episode, Meditation Teacher, Eve Lewis, helps one Headspace member understand the difference in their journey to become more self-aware.

Alfonso Ribeiro is dusting off his dancing shoes again, but this time his daughter, Sienna, is joining him. The father-daughter duo teamed up with J.C. Penney to film a catchy commercial for their 2016 Back-to-School campaign, and let’s just say it kind of has us wanting to get up and dance too. In the spot set to Meghan Trainor’s hit “Me Too,” Alfonso plays a bus driver with some serious moves, while Sienna shows off her high kick for the rest of the student passengers. “The Insider With Yahoo” caught up with the Ribeiros on set where Alfonso explained that J.C. Penny was the perfect partnership because “they are committed to making the back-to-school experience the best that it can be.” And speaking of the best, when asked who the better dancer was, both Alfonso and Sienna seemed to feel they should claim the title. Though like any good father would do, Alfonso conceded in the end. And while Sienna may not do “The Carlton” dance that her dad made famous on “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” she is already following in his footsteps in another way. “I actually really want to act,” she explained. “I’ve been trying to do stuff and this is a great opportunity for me and I’m really excited.” Even dad is onboard with his little girl entering into showbiz. “You know, as a parent all you ever care about is your kids being happy and doing the things that they love to do,” Alfonso said. Check out this video to watch Alfonso and Sienna show off their best moves, and tune in to “The Insider With Yahoo” on TV tonight for the latest in entertainment news.
Amidst the unprecedented challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, the significance of the 2020 election for the United States reached unparalleled heights. This heightened urgency propelled activists, celebrities, and politicians nationwide to actively champion the importance of voting. Why I Vote, an exclusive special streamed on ET Live on Sunday, October 4, was created to highlight this movement. In my role as co-producer for this special, I spearheaded segments such as Celebrity Voices on Voting, How to Vote Safely Amid COVID-19 (featuring Caitlin Huey-Burns), and A Step-By-Step Guide to Making Your Vote Count (featuring Mandana Dayani).
